P.E at St Barnabas

At St Barnabas we follow the “REAL P.E” programme of learning which was developed to not only provide children with physical literacy but to help them to improve their emotional, creative and thinking skills to achieve in P.E, sport and life.  It puts the learner at the centre of what we do with the ultimate goal of making children feel valued, included, challenged and supported in their learning.

Please continue to encourage your child to walk, scoot or cycle to school. This is fantastic for both their physical and mental health and energises them for a day of learning and fun.

We have been awarded the Northamptonshire Sport - PE, School Sport and Physical Activity Award. This is a massive achievement for the school and proves the hard work and dedication that Mrs Minter and all of the staff put into PE and physical activity across the school.
